Remember that this execution (assassination) of Saddam Hussein was carried out by the U.S. installed government in Iraq while the U.S. is illegally occupying Iraq. The U.S. had physical control of Saddam up until the time of his execution and transported the body afterwards. Simply put, Saddam Hussein was executed by the U.S. government. It is also important to remember that the U.S. illegally invaded Iraq and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. --Ayinde

Missing U.S.-Iraq History
Before George W. Bush gives the final order to invade Iraq -- a nation that has not threatened the United States -- the American people might want a few facts about the real history of U.S.-Iraq relations. Missing chapters from 1980 to the present would be crucial in judging Bush's case for war.
Allies hushed up weapons' destruction
THE highest-ranking defector ever to turn informant on Saddam Hussein's government told United Nations weapons inspectors in 1995 that Iraq had destroyed all its chemical and biological weapons stocks after the Gulf war. But UN inspectors hushed up that part of Hussein Kamel's story - which he also told to debriefers from British and United States intelligence - because they wanted to keep the pressure on Iraq to tell more.

Robert Fisk: The wartime deceptions:
Saddam is Hitler and it's not about oil
The Israeli writer Uri Avnery once delivered a wickedly sharp open letter to Menachem Begin, the Israeli prime minister who sent his army to defeat in Lebanon. Enraged by Begin's constant evocation of the Second World War - likening Yasser Arafat in Beirut to Hitler in his Berlin bunker in 1945 - Avnery entitled his letter: "Mr Prime Minister, Hitler is Dead." How often I have wanted to repeat his advice to Bush and Blair.
Powell: Saddam has 'clear ties' to al-Qaeda
"The nexus of tyrants and terror, of terrorists and weapons of mass terror, is the greatest danger of our age," Powell warned.
Saddam has 'clear ties' to al-Qaeda? Lies, Lies and more Lies. This is recycled propaganda. As Bush and his goons try to gain support for their Racist, Power-hungry Oil War, they are asking for truth from Saddam but they feel no obligation to be truthful. Powell have volunteered to be the official 'house slave' for what is a White power agenda. Remember all wars start with Lies and this time the U.S. is leading.

A Brief History Of Iraq Compiled by Larry Kerschner
A UN mandate does not make war on Iraq right!
Governments, editors, commentators and even supporters of the United Nations currently express the view that a war against Iraq is, or will be, acceptable if the United States and others "go back" to the Security Council and obtain a "UN mandate" before they attack. But, this is false logic and could spell the end of the UN as a peace organisation.

Who Lost Kuwait?
When Saddam Hussein was obviously preparing to invade Kuwait, why did the U.S. send signals that it would not interfere?
Despite this strong personal warning from Webster, high-level spokespersons for the Bush administration continued to state publicly that the U.S. would remain neutral in any Iraq-Kuwait conflict.
