Suicide Bomber Kills 7 in North Iraq
Shock, awe and the human body
During World War II, U.S. killed more people than the tsunamis When I saw the horrific toll that the tsunamis exacted in Asia and Africa, my first thought was that nature is the ultimate terrorist, since we define terrorism as the taking of innocent life. But on second thought, that unpleasant title still belongs to governments. During World War II, we killed more people than the tsunamis with our strategic-bombing campaigns in Europe and Japan. The waves did not intend to kill anybody. We did intend to visit death on the people we killed.

There Will Be No Peace, Without An End To This Terrorism Is it because the "terrorists" hate our freedoms? Or is it because there is a regular and lawful tendency for the natives to be provoked by the designs of foreign powers to deprive them of their resources, economic assets, and lives? Each action provokes a reaction, and the reaction to Anglo-American imperialism is the recalcitrance of the natives.

Let's Talk War Crimes A war crime is a punishable offense, under international law, for violations of the law of war by any person or persons, military or civilian. Every violation of the law of war is a war crime. It comprises such acts as mistreatment of prisoners of war or civilians. Genocide, crimes against humanity, mistreatment of civilians or combatants during war can all fall under the category of war crimes.
