Any means necessary Posted: Monday, October 18, 2004
Facts and Lies; Slogans and Truth Instead of "sifting and winnowing by which alone the truth may be found," much of the media repeats distortions that flow from the mouths of Administration officials.
Operation Desert Fraud
'The daily drivel'
Killing children is no longer a big deal More than 30 Palestinian children were killed in the first two weeks of Operation Days of Penitence in the Gaza Strip. It's no wonder that many people term such wholesale killing of children "terror." Whereas in the overall count of all the victims of the intifada the ratio is three Palestinians killed for every Israeli killed, when it comes to children the ratio is 5:1.

The war within America The more powerful the United States becomes, the more frightened the Americans are. Why is that? The reason is that those who are busy in making the US strong by promoting war abroad are the ones who are keeping the nation frightened to keep themselves in power and to keep the systems alive that, in turn, sustain them in power. Without keeping them frightened without promoting a “war within Islam,”[1] the people at the helm of affairs in the US cannot hijack democracy and usurp their freedom and money.

Yankees are blind to blundering Bush
Any means necessary There is nothing George Bush likes more than extolling the virtues of democracy in faraway places. Back in the US, however, the Almighty seems far less generous. Bush's enthusiasm to export democracy is not matched by his desire to defend it at home. With just a fortnight to go to the presidential election, efforts to obstruct and deny the vote, particularly to black and Latino voters, are intensifying.
Friendly Dictators Tyrants, torturers, killers, and sundry dictators and corrupt puppet-presidents have been aided, supported, and rewarded handsomely for their loyalty to US interests. Traditional dictators seize control through force, while constitutional dictators hold office through voting fraud or severely restricted elections, and are frequently puppets and apologists for the military juntas which control the ballot boxes. In any case, none have been democratically elected by the majority of their people in fair and open elections.
