Iraq: 'Liberation' or War Crimes? Posted: Monday, October 11, 2004
The Untold Story of Aristide's Departure from Haiti A recounting of recent events in Haiti is reminiscent of a statement written by an American Marine private during the first U.S. occupation of Haiti that began in 1915 and lasted nineteen years. The homesick marine wrote:
"Dear Mother, All is well for me here. I have taken well to my duties in Haiti but I still can't believe how they let the niggers have the run of the place."
Unforgivable Betrayals and Broken Promises I am writing a book about our need to escape from history--or rather about our inability to escape the effects of the decisions taken by our fathers and grandfathers.
The Only Ones Who Believe Saddam Had WMDs are Bush, Cheney ... and 40 Percent of All Americans
CIA Chief: More of a Mess
A Question for America : What Would Be Too Much? My questions to my fellow American citizens are this: What, for you, would be too much? What would this nation's government have to do in its foreign policy, or domestic policies, that would cause you to forsake your basic belief in and support for that governing body and its policies?

Iraq: 'Liberation' or War Crimes? The current pretext for the war was that, the US is “bringing democracy” to Iraq. Nothing could be further from the truth. The situation on the ground in Iraq is far worse than what is portrayed by Western media, reported Patrick Cockburn of The Independent of London. This is because the media is more interested in the re-election of George Bush in November than telling American citizens the truth about the crimes committed in their names against the Iraqi people.
Scott Ritter: If you had seen what I have seen The inspection process was rigged to create uncertainty over WMD to bolster the US and UK's case for war

Manufacturing the Enemy: American Identity Crisis The whitewash of recent American actions turn on the belief that the west, America in particular, can do no wrong. That their actions are deemed "just" because history and God are on their side. That all acts have a cause and effect cycle. That this cycle was forced upon them and can explain how things are. There is however, an alternative view because there is never just one truth, but many.

Cheney's Lamest Excuse Yet What do you do when the excuses you used to "justify" an unwise and unnecessary war are completely discredited. If you're Vice President Dick Cheney, you make up a new one.
