You really learned how to write good zein, this was a really interesting piece. We could go back and forth on which side did what and who is to blame, but your piece did not clarify anything that I was hoping for(maybe for some other time).
I apologize that I am having trouble finding sympathy. I am not in this conflict, so I am watching this from the side and what I see is the media on the palestinian side a lot. Here is the reason why I say this. When a palestinian is killed, we are told by the media that a 12 year old boy was killed by Israel and they conveniently forget to tell us that this 12 year old boy had a gun in his hand (don't get me wrong, I know very well that it is not the boys fault, this is what they are taught). Now when Jews are killed, we hear that 10 or 20 "people" have been killed, and the media conveniently forgets to tell us that a 5 year old girl or a 10 month old baby was killed, or even an entire family. It's like I said, I am not there to see this, but this is what I see on the news over here. When I want to get accurate news, I search the web, because I cannot rely on the media.
This is why I have a hard time to sympathize with the palestinian people. When Israel targets someone, they target terrorist militants. But when Palestinians target someone, it is whatever moves and Jewish of course, whether boy, girl, baby, mother, sister etc...
This is the subject that I would like to have clarified, not the biased opinion of some journalist. Please reply back zein! And I would appreciate "your" opinion.
Just for addition "Jesus is love"
Take care of yourself!
