I never want to hear another American say 'nothing but the best for our boys in blue' or 'we'll never put our soldiers/sailors/airmen/marines in harm's way again without the ability to defend themselves(like Vietnam)again!' You're all liars for you own political gains!
We did not need WMD or Saddam's defiance of inspectors, or 'bad intel' to justify Iraqi Freedom-just pictures of the AA fire that has been put upon coalition aircraft for TEN YEARS. My anger is at the previous administration that allowed it to go on-and the two faced American people that supported them! The Saudi offical that told the mayor of New York that we were to blame for 9/11 was partially right. It's been said that Saddam didn't think we'd attack-what nation would allow its aircraft to be fired on for TEN YEARS would have the balls to attack?
American military history is filled with examples of how we avoided war by showing strength(Cold War-See Ronnie Reagan), and had to fight wars because we showed weakness(See WWII).
If you have any doubts that showing strength pays dividends, ask Mr. Kadafi!!
