Political Comment
The middle of last week saw the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in Teheran end its proceedings. Part of what the conference called for was the rejection of “extremism”. Two days earlier, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a summit in Kuwait; the most important resolutions adopted by the summit were conspicuously aimed at executing the dictates of America pertaining to the reshaping of the region, be it those related to “fighting terrorism” or to “modernising the educational curricula”. Before the end of the GCC summit, Gaddafi had offered an easy victory to the American project aimed at reshaping the region, when he declared that Libya was prepared to allow international inspector teams to visit the country, in the wake of her decision to get rid of her “weapons of mass destruction”. Gaddafi has gifted America with what she had been persistently seeking in the light of the ever-increasing Iraqi resistance against her forces. Hence, the public and voluntary Libyan capitulation to the requirements of American foreign policy provided a boost to the “dominos” theory that stipulates the voluntary fall of the regimes, which should also offer America their public acceptance of all the required and necessary conditions of what America refers to as “reforms”, without American soldiers having to shed one single drop of blood; this in turn would justify to American mainstream public opinion American foreign policies towards the region and what the Bush administration is sacrificing in terms of blood and money in Iraq.
At a time when the Gaddafi government offered the specimen that was upgraded from the timid Iranian formula, in terms of opening Iran before the inspection teams, the events came in a successive motion after the arrest of Saddam Hussein had been announced. This gave the American project aimed at reshaping the region a renewed momentum that will make the rulers of the region speed up the procedure of the “reforms” that America is calling for, though the arrest of Saddam did coincide with Bush’s launch of his electoral campaign. Hence, based on the request of the American administration, talks between the Sudanese government and the rebels of the south (SPLA) were sped up and the two sides are now on the brink of signing an agreement by the end of the year, according to American wishes. Needless to say that the issue of “separating religion from state” was at the heart of the negotiations and the open cooperation of the Sudanese government in the “fight against terrorism” was a precondition. Also, no sooner had the negotiations between the government and the rebels over sharing the oil revenues ended, than the Kurds started a host of demonstrations demanding that the oil-rich province of Kirkuk be joined to Iraqi Kurdistan. This was preceded by leaked news about dividing Iraq while maintaining it under a federal union according to the American formula.
In Palestine, successive initiatives and conferences are taking place under the theme of the so-called “roadmap” project, the progress in which will speed up the people of the region’s acceptance of America’s “reforms”. Wherever one turns his attention in the Muslims’ lands, he would witness the ruling factions engrossed in “fighting terrorism”, “modernising the educational curricula”, “spreading democracy”, “human rights”, “freedoms”, “market economy” and so on. In other words, America has succeeded in imposing the progress according to her “reforms” in order to build the foundations of the forthcoming changes and new regimes that are expected to come into being once they have blamed the consequences of the change on the current regimes; once the required foundations of this change have been established, the current regimes will pay its price with their demise. It seems that America, who never overlooks the benefits of exploiting others to achieve her aims, as was the case during the Second Gulf War, is proceeding towards implementing the most dangerous undertakings on the people of the region, with the aim of concluding its redesign and its blockade. Some sources have reported that America is seeking to tempt the major countries of the world, namely the European states, with the aim of signing a charter on a joint operation charter concerning a “democratic Middle East project”, which stipulates subjugating the Arab states to execute its clauses under the direct supervision of the Nato offices, whose spread throughout the region is in the pipeline, to include new divisions such as “the democratic implementation division”, “the implementation of human rights standards division” and “the freedoms” division, whereby the Alliance would take the decision of military intervention whenever necessary, once the intervention is approved by the Security Council, as an endorsement of the role of the United Nations.
The memorandum of the project is said to be a proposition to European countries on international “security” and “peace” and the necessity to implement democracy in the region. The implementation of democracy was no longer a mere option because America and Europe were facing a new enemy in the region, namely “the religious extremism and fanaticism”. This necessitates an endeavour “... to concentrate the efforts on reducing the role of religion in public life in the region and to prevent religion from dominating the talks and the slogans, except within the context of rituals and acts of worship; also, to confine the influence of the scholars or those who attempt to mix religion with politics”, lest others used it as a “pretext to halt the political reforms and all other types of reforms”, and so that religion does not widen its scope to engulf “political and economic issues or ruling matters in general”. In line with the practical execution of the plan aimed at achieving a custodianship in order to generate a host of new social structures, a number of strategies have been established in education, the media and the role of religion. Certain sources have also talked about preparations to permanently transfer large numbers of American military equipment and troops to the Middle East from US bases in Europe.
Dear Muslims..
The infidels America and the West are not expected to cease plotting against Islam and the Muslims in the Muslims’ lands and not even in the heart of Europe and America. Whatever hatred they reveal is far less than what they harbour in their hearts. The Westerners and their puppets are not expected to refrain from oppressing and humiliating the Muslims and preventing them from undertaking a practical stance, once their willpower is evoked, to confront the willpower of America and her puppets and tools.
The willpower of the Muslims will never be evoked in a fruitful manner until they make Allah their ally and until their vision is turned towards solving the mother of all issues. This will facilitate the solving of all their other issues, namely the return of Islam to the realm of relationships, through the resumption of the Islamic way of life and the establishing of the Khilafah, before the infidels America and the West tighten their grip on the Muslims’ lands and implement the last of their plans; these they expect to be capable of besieging the Ummah, nullifying her means of liberating herself and plunging her in despair from the possibility of change on the basis of Islam.Dear Muslims..
The infidels America and the West are overwhelmed by fear from the omens of your movement on the basis of Islam. Their politicians and intellectuals are no longer hiding this fact despite the fact that you do not have a state that unifies you on the basis of your religion; so how would their fear of you be if Allah were to grant you might and if the eagle (-beaked) banner, i.e. the banner of the Messenger of Allah (saw) were to shelter you?The serious work will neither be through pleading with the treacherous rulers, “the gang leaders”, nor through partaking in their regimes that implement Kufr. It is high time that this noble Ummah, whose sons have started to carve their way towards salvation, realised that the slaves of America would not turn into freemen and that those who denigrated and humiliated themselves to serving the infidels and devoted themselves to remaining in power, would not be on the side of their Ummah. They would continue to justify the actions of their paymasters in the hope of staying in power until the last moment, even if they realised that America would not let them. If Saddam Hussein was disposed of by America “like the dead rat is disposed of” - in the words of the toppled Shah - and if she did not even hesitate in displaying him in the most humiliating manner, some have expected this to act as an example to the other rulers, and yet those rulers refuse but to be lowly and display to us the typical example of lowliness, contempt and their partiality towards the camp of Shaytan, either out of fear or conviction, indifferent to the harm they cause to the sons of the Ummah, in terms of killing, displacement and impoverishment, in submission to the infidels America and the West. Here is the Algerian president Bouteflika, who recently attended the Arab Thought Foundation Conference in Beirut, talking about the future and change and saying: “If we want a new revival, we have to stop confining it in the religious scope. Then the Arab world may be able to reconcile with the worldwide values”, i.e. the values of America and Europe. He even attributes the lack of revival in the past century “…in essence to our religious visions and our viewpoint towards the world and life…” Despite this, that apostate is well aware of the infidel sword close to his neck and the necks of the rulers and people of the region as a whole, “…the change is no longer a domestic requirement, but rather a condition that we have to execute before it is imposed upon us from abroad…” So does a ruler like this care at what price he sells the Ummah to her enemies? Does a level-headed person hope that change will be occasioned through the work with these regimes, whose rulers openly proclaim their treason and bias towards the infidel Western civilization, and who flagrantly fight the Islam of this Ummah and yet they still consider Islam to be the cause of decline and backwardness!
Dear Muslims..
In the light of America mobilising the countries of Europe and her surrogates from among the Kufr states, it is high time we refrained from linking our issues to others and strove towards devoting ourselves to the cause of Islam and to its return to the realm of life, and not towards the independence of a single province or the establishment of a new freak entity, or towards achieving the values of the West and its corrupt thought, which has yielded nothing but misery, even to their own societies, despite the empty show and limelight.
It is surprising that the Kuffar are still capable of deceiving the Muslims into achieving cheap objectives that angers Allah; some Muslims even sacrifice their lives while dreaming about an independence and borders placed by the Kuffar, or about establishing a freak entity to be added to that pile of states, whose existence has only yielded the anger of Allah, depravity and poverty.
How does the one sacrificing himself in Palestine, Iraq and Chechnya among other places not link his sacrifice to the necessity of Islam’s return and the restoration of Islamic brotherhood, instead of proceeding behind the banners of ignorance and the borders of Sykes-Picot and others from among the Kuffar? How could the Muslims go hungry while their lands are the richest in the world without linking their salvation from poverty to the one who divides equally and rules justly among the subjects, not the one who builds castles from the crumbs of what the Kuffar leave behind for him from the faculties of our lands? How could the return of the Khilafah fail to catch our imagination and be with us everywhere until we attain our might and carry the message of Islam in order to bring the world out of the darkness of America and Europe’s values and into the light of Islam?Is it befitting for the people of power and influence in the Muslims’ lands to remain immersed in the life of this world and witness their Ummah experiencing one of the most dangerous turning points, where America is battling against time in order to tighten her grip on the region and to implement her corruption and produce a generation that has its link with its Lord and its Islam severed??
We invite you dear Muslims to work with us towards resisting America and her projects and towards establishing the Khilafah..
