The Iraqi People have very little interest in having their Mosques, Water Supplies and Power grids Attacked. While there are certainly a few of them who preferred a leader who had their sons and daughters thrown in to wood chippers, most of them are not overly supportive of the tactics of the current provocateurs. There is a reason so many of those killed and captured now are Syrian, particularly those launching suicidal efforts.
It may fit some to sit back and chant "OIL, OIL, OIL" and "NO WMD, NO WMD, NO WMD".
The fact of the matter remains, this is the most expensive oil we ever bought and there were countless weapons violations we have identified, from clandestine networks of laboratories conducting illegal biological weapons research, often on human test subjects; to hidden gas centrifuges, the very sort currently putting Iran in hot water.
The claims of those trying to paint a smiley face on to Saddam or subvert our efforts to get that part of the world under control in order to prevent what could easily be World War III if one of these "Martyrs" ever does manage to get a nuke; these claims are disingenuous. So what is the motive to make these claims? Perhaps a desire to see a "Democrat" in office? Maybe, to help Islamofascism in it's continuing quest for World Domination? Maybe, just pure spite towards the United States, Spite Based on Envy Maybe as we are the only country capable of this sort of thing at this time.
Someone has to do this, someone had to get that Butcher out of Bagdad, someone had to put the squeeze on Iran and Syria and Someone Has To Finish The Job or the Future, will be under a Toxic and, or Radioactive Cloud.
